Default A Fun W/R Build

Here's an interesting idea for a warrior/ranger pvp condition-plaguing build:

Apply Poison
Warrior's Endurance
Final Thrust
Galrath
Hamstring
Sever Artery
Gash
Shield Bash

First you apply poison right before entering fight, forcing enemy to either endure poison or get a cure. Meanwhile, because of the cost of apply poison, cast warriors endurance, laying on sever and gash as they become available. If poison is still on, stacked with sever is alot of decreased health. Go for shield bash when energy becomes available to throw of a mage (or warrior) if they are meleeing with you. Then, go for galrath and final thrust to lay heavy blows. Use hamstring if they try to run away, making it easier to keep laying conditions down. Obviously this build isn't designed to be perfect, but with a good memser and a monk to back you up you could deal serious damage and/or be really annoying because of the conditions layed down. Let me know what you think, if this is a decent build or not. It just occured to me how much fun this would be. Its probably been done, but oh well.

I had a very similar build going with sever+gash+poison, but with troll unguent and dryder's defenses thrown in, to give myself more self-sustainability.

if i can remember right, (i switched to W/E), my build was..

Troll Unguent
Endure Pain
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Dryder's Defenses
Apply Poison
Res Sig

i generally casted apply poison first then ran around hitting everyone in the area, giving them poison, then latched onto someone and started sever+gash+final thrust.

it worked pretty well. however it's really condition-based, so there are obvious weaknesses there.

I feel that warrior's endurance is a waste of an elite skill for this build, if your gonna use ranger sub class, use tiger's furry, which increases ur attack rate by 33%, throw on a zealous hilt, and use hundred blades.

If you're going to use Warrior's Endurance, you better have something to feed that energy to. Hamstring and Apply Poison, though hefty, I don't think justifies bringing Warrior's Endurance.

If I were you, I'd bring Victory is Mine! instead. You're walking into combat with 4 conditions. Cripple, Bleeding, Deep Wound, Poison. It's BEGGING for it.

This build has a very glaring weakness. Blind. Warrior's Endurance fails if you can't hit anything.

To cure some very nasty conditions, the ranger has an awesome signet: Antidote Signet. It doesn't cure just one, like other condition removers, it combats 3. Being a signet, it's free. Why not bring it?

Since you've got Wilderness Survival on you, I suppose using Serpent's Quickness allows the 15s. cooldown of Victory is Mine! to drop considerably. Wow. That means you can keep your hp and energy up as well as spam your conditioning skills when needed, which feeds Victory, it's an endless cycle of pain. ^_^
